TalentTelligent LLC, a collaborative effort between Bob Eichinger and Roger Pearman, provides a suite of tools with a language of “observables” that provide everyone across your organization with the ability to recognize, assess and develop talent. It is called the KSA Suite of Tools.

KSAKnowledge, Skills and Attributes is a comprehensive way to address your talent system. You can use it to connect all your efforts to select, hire, grow, develop, deploy, promote, give feedback and support your valued talent across key levels and teams. KSA keeps the whole person and whole talent system in focus.

Following Kaiser and Craig (2011) and the large body of research describing differences between managerial jobs at different levels in the organizational hierarchy. KSA has 3 level specific performance libraries to help you address key, pivotal, career-defining Roles and Practices needed for success.

  • Individual Contributors (KSAI) – those doing the hands-on work on the front line
  • Managers or Supervisors (KSAM) – those who manage the Individual Contributors
  • Leaders (KSAL) – Executives who manage Managers and Supervisors and lead the enterprise

Running across the 3 levels, representing solutions that span the whole organization is a specific library for High Potentials (KSAP). The markers and practices of high potentials can be found across or anywhere in the organization, not just at the top. Based on the research along with TeamTelligent’s findings, we know:
